Trip Overview

Langtang, Gosainkunda & Helambu trek begins in the ancient city of Kathmandu. This is an interesting village on the banks of the Bhote Kosi River. The trekking areas of Langtang and Helambu trek are a hop and a jump away from the capital city of Nepal. Yet you can still experience the intact, unique cultures of Tamangs, Newars, and Sherpas, living in some of the most beautiful landscapes in Nepal. In Kyanjing Gompa, you will experience the spiritual lifestyle of dedicated Buddhist monks performing their rituals in a beautiful monastery dating back to around 1300 A.D. And early in the morning, you will climb Tserko Ri (5,000 m) for a great view of the Langtang Lirung range (7,200 m).
Here is a green and pleasant land of quiet villages, terraced slopes and pine forests leading up to Langtang National Park–perfect for relaxing, culturally oriented trekking. A bit more adventurous is the popular route to the alpine lakes of Gosainkunda, holy to Hindus, Buddhists, and Tamang shamans alike. Time your visit with the August full moon, when thousands of pilgrims trek up to bathe in the frigid waters at 4000m, and you’re in for an intense experience.

18 days Langthang & Helambu trek will start after you arrive in Kathmandu where your accommodation and transfer from the airport are taken care of by us. We will also give you a tour of Kathmandu city where you can enjoy and buy your trek equipment if you need it. Keep in mind that we provide a free duffle bag when you arrive, also we provide a down jacket and sleeping bag for hire if needed, we would appreciate it if you would give us the details when you book our trip.

The third day we will drive to Syabrubesi from where our trek starts and is a total of 14 days of walking, we will be spending our night in a teahouse through different places as stated in the itinerary. We give extra care to our clients with our excellent and certified English-speaking guide who will help you with all the things you need and with their knowledge of the route you will find the trek more enjoyable. If you have more time on your hand, we would also recommend you to CHECK OUR EVEREST REGION TREK which is longer and you can enjoy many amazing places along the way, including Gokyo lakes and Everest Base Camp as well as ANNAPURNA REGION TREK.
