Trip Overview


Luxury Lodges of Annapurna and Chitwan National Park.
This extraordinarily diverse day out provides the whole lot from historic Kathmandu discovery to Seti River rafting and game gazing in ChitwanThe highlight, however, is a short walk, bright with sherpas and porters, visiting some of the most fascinating villages in the foothills of Annapurna, surrounded by breathtaking views of the peak. We deliver a much higher standard of comfort through a series of picturesque luxury lodges than is normally available during trekking. Each lodge has twin rooms, bathrooms attached, hot running water, dining rooms, comfortable lounges, gardens, and amazing views.
13 days of luxury lodges of Annapurna and Chitwan trip will start after you arrive in Kathmandu where your accommodation and transfer from the airport are taken care of by us. We will also give you a tour of Kathmandu city where you can enjoy and buy your trek equipment if you need it. Keep in mind that we provide a free duffle bag when you arrive, also we provide down jackets and sleeping bags for hire if needed, we would appreciate it if you would give us the details when you book our trip.
The next day we will fly to Pokhara where we stay for the night, early morning after breakfast our trek starts with a total of 6 days of walking, we will be spending our night in a teahouse through different places as stated in the itinerary. We give extra care to our clients with our excellent and certified English-speaking guide who will help you with all the care and support you will need and with their knowledge of the route you will find the trek more enjoyable. Our trek ends in Phedi and board our vehicle for a drive towards Chitwan where we will be spending two nights before we depart back to Kathmandu. Itinerary
Day 1

Arrive Kathmandu

Arrive Kathmandu, transfer to hotel; evening free.

Day 2

Free day for sightseeing in Kathmandu

Free day for sightseeing in Kathmandu. You may wish to visit the monkey temple at Swayambunath, one of the largest Buddhist Stupas in the world at Bodnath, or the most important Hindu temple in the valley at Pashupatinath, visit Durbar Square in the heart of the old city where the old Royal Palace is located. Outside is Kumari Chowk, home of the Kumari, the young girl who is revered as a living goddess. The whole area is a maze of temples and images. Leading away from the square in all directions are narrow alleys, full of the most amazing variety of shops and stalls. Sightseeing tours can be booked locally. Today there will full trip briefing in the morning.

Day 3

Drive to Pokhara

We leave Kathmandu and drive to Pokhara early in the morning. It takes around 6 hrs depending on the road condition and traffic. You will have a chance to walk along the side of Phewa lake.

Day 4

Birethanti

After breakfast you will leave the lodge walking out through the outlying farms following the Modi River Valley. Soon we begin to climb out of the valley and up towards the mountains. The trail passes through small hamlets, terraced rice fields and forests with spectacular views of the surrounding valley. Snacks are provided along the trail. Hot lunch is served on arrival at the lodge in the early afternoon. It is from this lodge that there are magnificent close up views of the surrounding mountains.

Day 5

Ghandruk

You will wake up this morning with tea and coffee, served in the garden and watch the sunrise over Annapurna South, Annapurna 1, Hiunchuli, Gangapurna, and the Fishtail. After a relaxing breakfast and glorious views from the Himalaya Lodge, our guide will take us on an exploration of this mountain village and the surrounding countryside. Ghandruk was once a major recruitment centre for the famous Gurkha soldiers. The women of Ghandruk maintain a local industry of weaving traditional Nepalese rugs.

Day 6

Landruk

After breakfast, it will be time to leave the Himalaya Lodge walking out through the village of Ghandruk. We need to descend to the river and climb up to get to Landruk. Leaving Ghandruk we descend down to Modi River, cross the suspension bridge then trek up to Landruk while enjoying the beautiful Annapurna Range.

Day 7

Majgaon

Gentle walk to Gurung or Mala Lodge, todays walk to Majgaon is easier with no steeps and downhill. Arriving the lodge by lunch time, you can enjoy the beautiful views of mountain.

Day 8

Dhampus

We trek towards Patlekhet, and then towards our lodge at Dhampus. We can see the magnificent view of entire Annapurna Range. You can take a walk around the Dhampus Village after lunch.

Day 9

Descend to Phedi,Drive to Pokhara

Today we descend through the hillside to Phedi from where our vehicle will drive you to Pokhara. Afternoon is free and you can do a boat ride or cycle around Phewa lake.

Day 10

Drive to Chitwan

Places Visited: Chitwan

Activities:

We leave Pokhara and drive towards Chitwan, it will take approx. 4hrs and once you reach your guide will brief you about the activities in Chitwan. You can go on an ox-cart ride around Tharu Village and can also witness the traditional Tharu Dance there.

Day 11

Stay at Chitwan

The most popular way of seeing the animals is on elephant-back, and we will be very unlucky not to see the Indian one-horned rhinoceros and several species of deer. It is also possible to make trips along the Rapti River in a dugout canoe, looking for crocodile and observing the many birds. We stay in a safari lodge, whose knowledgeable and helpful staff accompany us on all the excursions. The lodge has a complex of two roomed huts with attached bathrooms and a larger dining room/bar area.

Day 12

Flight back to Kathmandu

After breakfast we fly back to Kathmandu from Bharatpur airport arriving in the afternoon.
