Trip Overview
Sundarijal to Gagalphedi hike is one of the famous one day hike near Kathmandu. This hikes takes us towards the north of Kathmandu valley. After a Breakfast at The Sherpa farmhouse we will drive to Sundarijal Bus Park and start walking. The hike is approximately 11Km Long. We will slowly proceed our hike to Shivapuri national Park. We will walk through the beautiful Rhododendron forest. We will also have an opportunity to see water falls. After some walk from Sundarijal Water fall we will reach to the Hindu temple Kageshwori. There we will spend some time and further continue our hike. On continuing the hike we will get chance to observe the Tamang heritage as well. After 2 hours of walk from Kageshwori we will finally reach to Gagalphedi a beautiful tamang village.
